An Atlanta, Georgia native, Lakesha “KESHA” Lymon-Ellerbee is a dynamic blend of glam and grit. 
 
Hailing from the mecca of the Black beauty industry, Kesha basked in all things hair. The marketing maven has journeyed through various hair experiences, including permed strands, natural tresses, and currently luscious locs. With such a devoted history to hair and its many facets, Kesha dedicates her life to beauty and hair care. Ultimately, she developed a hair obsession, forcing her to frequent beauty supply stores searching for suitable products. However, her trips to local beauty hubs created a disdain for beauty shops. Upon entering her store of choice, she immediately felt disconnected. Apart from the disparaging disrespect, employees could not answer questions concerning Black hair care. Beauty store staff members didn’t possess an ounce of relatability. And without a verified opinion from a fellow hair fanatic, Kesha was compelled to become a product junkie, ultimately purchasing items at risk and duped into faulty hair experiments. 
 
Her negative encounters highlighted an issue she was determined to solve. Kesha “double-downed” and devised a plan to open a beauty supply store to combat the impertinence she witnessed within the retail beauty industry. Prepped with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in African American Studies and a minor in Psychology, Kesha further fortified her education with a business certificate from a rigorous Beauty Supply training program. Three years later, Kesha Beauty Supply opened for business in November 2021, relentlessly aiming to become the #1 beauty store in Georgia.
